I know you’ve all seen the beer bread mixes in home party catalogs and at stores that just says mix in beer, bake and enjoy, right?
But I’ve got a Homemade Beer Bread Mix that you’re gonna love! And no it doesn’t cost $5-$10 a box!
Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Mix your flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Push the flour and sugar mixture up onto the sides of the bowl to create a “well” in the center of the bowl.
Pour the beer into the center of the flour and sugar mixture.
Mix well! Dough will be very sticky. If need be, use your hands to mix it really well.
Pour batter into 2 sprayed loaf pans. Brush melted butter onto each loaf.
Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour. Tops should be a nice brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on wire racks.

I love beer bread and this sounds so easy. I will be making this tonight and will report back on how it turns out.
