Description

Soft, fluffy, and filled with cake batter flavor, these Funfetti Monkey Bread Muffins come in individual servings and serve as a delicious grab ‘n go breakfast or tasty dessert!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Melted Butter
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Funfetti Cake Mix
  • 2 cans (8-count, About 16 Oz. Size) Refrigerated Biscuit Dough
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 4 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cups Funfetti Cake Mix
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray a 12-count muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray or line with paper liners. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake mix. Set aside.

Separate dough into biscuits. Separate each biscuit into 4 pieces and then roll each into a ball. Dip each piece into melted butter and then into cake mixture.

Place 8 dough balls into each muffin tin. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until lightly browned and cooked inside. Remove from oven and let cool.

While muffins are cooling, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cake mix, and milk. You may need to add more or less milk to reach desired consistency.

Drizzle glaze over warm muffins. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
