Description

An updated version of old-fashioned cinnamon rolls. No rolling or slicing required. A busy mom’s dream!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Bread Flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Yeast
  • 2 cups Very Warm Water
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Melted Butter
  • Additional Cinnamon And Sugar, To Taste

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, mix flours and salt. Add yeast and water. Stir with a spoon until dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and is smooth. Cover dough and let rise for 1 hour.

Pour dough onto a greased cookie sheet or onto parchment paper lined pan or Silpat.

With greased hands, spread dough across the pan. Using your knuckles…spread dough out forming dimples across the surface of the dough…you will want the dough to be in a rectangular shape.

Using a silicone pastry brush, brush melted butter across the surface of the bread. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon, sugar and brown sugar.

Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes or until bread is golden brown.

Cool just a tad and cut into squares using a pair of scissors. Thanks, Mom!

I want to make these, what size pan/cookie sheet do you use? Can’t wait to surprise my family.

This was so easy (no kneading and only one rise) and it was super tasty! I think this would be a great base for savory toppings too!
