Description

A super easy and yummy quick bread you make in the blender!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups Shortening, Softened
  • 2 whole Ripe Bananas
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1-⅓ cup Flour
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅓ cups Pecans, Chopped (or Walnuts)
  • ⅓ cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Place in a blender the eggs and softened shortening. Pulse to slightly combine. Add bananas and sugar and blend until smooth.

In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Pour banana mix over dry ingredients and stir gently to combine. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Enjoy

Super easy and so yummy! I replaced the cream of tartar with baking powder since that was all I had and it came out great. Cooked for almost an hour instead of 40 mins. New favorite :)
