This recipe was perfect in my opinion – did not need anything else as far as I was concerned. I did spritz the dough with a little EVOO before resting. It is a recipe even non-“bread bakers” can make without fear and with only a 20 minute rest/rise period there is instant gratification. I served it along with a caeser salad and my family enjoyed it so much they could have cared less about my entree. This is a meal in itself or could be a nice lunch. Wonderful recipe!

Very tasty. I agree that it needs a bit more garlic or herbs, but that is personal taste, I think. Enjoy this recipe and make often.

Very simple to make, tastes great! Very hard not to eat it all; my husband and I just ate 3/4 of it at dinner. I had to bake for a total of 30 minutes for it to brown and crisp, but very good.
Will try it as a pizza crust this weekend. Thanks for sharing!

I made this recipe twice yesterday. First made as directed, but had to add extra tbsp of oil and water to get it to come together. Baked closer to 15 minutes. Very tasty, but I also would have added more herbs. Second time, I used the extra tbsp of oil and water, added fresh garlic to the mix and used as a pizza crust. Excellent, everyone loved the texture.

Whoa, good! And craftymom is right, it’s easy and quick. While it was delicious as written, we thought it could have used alot more garlic and herbs and spices, so we’ll add more next time. It’s definitely way too easy to gobble this yummy bread down, and my kids (and husband, wow!) loved it.

this was amazing. So easy and so good! My husband kept saying “This tastes like it came from a restaurant!” I can’t wait to make it again.
for the above commenter – instant yeast is different than regular/rapid rise yeast. I used regularyeast and you have to dissolve the yeast in warm water first. Wait until its bubbly, about 5 minutes, and then add it to the rest of the ingredients. Try it again, it’s definitely worth it.

Totally … messed up…. this recipe. Guessing it was the yeast that was wrong. Not sure if ‘instant’ yeast is the same thing as ‘rapid rise’, which is all I can find here. So sad, too, because it smelled so yummy.
