A yummy twist on an old favorite! Bacon goes great with anything and in cornbread, it’s to-die-for!
Preheat oven to 400 F. Put dry ingredients (flour through salt) in a large bowl and mix together. Add wet ingredients (milk through oil) and stir just until mixed. Do not over-mix. Toss in cooked bacon and shredded cheddar and mix.
Spray your pan with non-stick baking spray (I used a round 9″ cake pan). Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top. Cook on 400 F for 20-25 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove pan from oven, let bread rest for 5 minutes then cut and serve!
