Say that three times fast!
Preheat your oven to 350.
To brown your butter, let it warm in a skillet or sauce pan at medium heat. Let it bubble, foam, and brown. The browned bits are good, keep them. Let the butter cool in the pan once browned.
Beat the eggs, mix with the cooled butter, banana, bourbon, yogurt and vanilla in one bowl.
Add the flour*, baking soda, sugar, spices and salt in another, large bowl.
Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix until combined gently. Fold the walnuts in (or you can substitute this for another nut, a dried berry or fruit or even chocolate chips).
I baked this in a greased square cake pan, for 20-30 minutes, but in a loaf pan, it can take about 40 minutes. Enjoy!
*Side note – I used bread flour for the first time around because I have a big bag sitting around. But I think all-purpose flour may work better for this type of recipe.

MMMMMMMmmmm is all I have to say! My house is going to smell yummy for days even though the bread itself is long gone. Thanks for sharing!

Holy cow this recipe is AMAZING. It smelled so good in the oven, it was hard to wait for it to cool enough to cut in. I baked it in an 8×8 pyrex pan and it took about 45 minutes or so. Incredible recipe – try it and you won’t be disappointed!
