Description

Because Biscoff spread makes everything taste delicious! This is way too good to be served as a bread. I rather enjoy it as a cake with glaze on it, but feel free to leave the glaze out and use it as bread!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BREAD:
  • ¾ cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 whole Ripe Bananas, Peeled
  • ½ cups Biscoff Spread
  • ¼ cups Sour Cream
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • ¼ cups Biscoff Spread
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Line an 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, if serving this as a cake or line a standard sized loaf pan with parchment paper if you want to make it as a loaf.

In a large bowl mix together all cake ingredients (everything except the chocolate chips) with a big spoon until well combined, but not over mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.

Spread batter into the 8-inch baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. If you are making this as a loaf of bread you’ll need to bake it for roughly 50 minutes. When done remove the pan from the oven. Right after baking take cake/bread gently out of the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.

If you made this as a cake and want to glaze it … In a medium sized bowl mix all of the glaze ingredients together until smooth. Spread glaze over cake and let it set before serving.
