Sweet yeasty beer bread. Make it with your favorite (or least favorite!) beer. This recipe is enjoyed best when served warm with butter, honey and/or jam.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease your loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Put honey in the microwave for a 10-20 second to liquify. Using a wooden spoon, stir the beer and honey into the dry ingredients until just mixed. Don’t overmix.
Pour batter into pan and brush the top with melted butter.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until top is golden brown and a toothpick/knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Bread is best when served warm.
