My mother used to pilfer a beer from my dad’s stock to make this tasty bread. You can vary the type of beer you use and get different results. Either way, the beer flavor comes through nicely. It’s pretty awesome served with pasta or soup.
1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
2. Pour the beer over the flour mixture.
3. Mix.
4. Pack into a greased loaf pan.
5. Brush melted butter over top.
6. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Serve warm.
