This is such an easy wonderful recipe. You can use whatever beer you have on hand. The bread is soft, dense and has a sourdough flavor. Delicious!
Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Please in a greased loaf pan and let rise on top of a warm oven for 25 minutes. Bake at 350ºF for one hour.
Baste with melted butter after 30 minutes of baking and baste again after 45 minutes of baking.

Sounds wonderful. The kids love their “french” toast made with sourdough bread.
