A classic, comforting banana bread!
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
2. Mash your bananas in a bowl. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.
4. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, gradually beating in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add mashed bananas to sugar mixture.
5. Blend in sifted ingredients. Fold in nuts.
6. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for at least 1 hour. After 1 hour, check for doneness. (Mine need more like 1 hour and 20 minutes).
