Description

Delicious apple bread with butterscotch chips.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Oil
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • ¼ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cup Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Diced
  • ½ cups Butterscotch Chips
  • 2 Tablespoons To 3 Tablespoons Milk, If Needed

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan (I used a glass one).

In a bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Then in another bowl, combine oil, sugars, egg, vanilla and apples. Then add to the dry ingredients and combine. I had to add a little milk here (2 to 3 tablespoons) to loosen the dough a tad. You may need to also. Then stir in the butterscotch chips.

Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

Loved this recipe! I was looking for some way to use my butterscotch chips and this was perfect. I made them into muffins for a princess tea party and all the princesses loved them. Thanks!
