It is easy and makes for a great snack or a side with one of your favorite meals.
Put the beer, vegetable oil, eggs, flour, sugar, garlic, romano cheese, and yeast in your bread machine in the order given. Just use the dough cycle, then put dough in a greased bowl and let rise. Grease two medium size cookie sheets. Split in half, turn out on a floured surface, and roll to size to fit your cookie sheet. Do this with both halves of the dough. Drizzle 2 tablespoons olive oil on the dough on each cookie sheet, using a pastry brush spread evenly. Top each sheet evenly with red onions and cheddar cheese. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes, I turned on the broiler and browned the top just a little, 4 minutes. Enjoy!
