I got this recipe years ago from my great aunt. It can be used as an appetizer or a side dish in place of garlic toast.
1. Halve a round loaf of French bread horizontally.
2. Mix remaining ingredients together and spread a light layer on each half of the French bread.
3. Wrap the bottom of each half of bread in foil. Bake approximately 20 minutes at 350. (or until hot, bubbly and slightly browned).
4. Cut into wedges and serve.
