Spicy salsa verde made from fresh ingredients—perfect for eating with chips or as a sauce or topping!
Slice tomatillos in half and place in the broiler (cut side down) for 5-7 minutes, until the skin becomes slightly blackened.
Rough chop onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.
Combine all ingredients in a blender, including lime juice.
Pulse until desired consistency, place in a jar, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Makes about 1 pint.
