A simple yet elegant appetizer that will complement any occasion!
First you’ll want to wash and trim the tough ends off of your asparagus. Bring a pot of generously salted water to a boil and cook asparagus until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Drain asparagus and quickly place in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process, drain again and dry the asparagus with paper towels. Next spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the surface of one piece of prosciutto and cut the piece of prosciutto into four pieces. Roll each piece with one spear of asparagus, making sure that tip is exposed.
Enjoy!

This is such a nice and light appetizer for a summer gathering on the patio. And I like how easy it is to prepare.

I do a similar recipe only I use pickled asparagus and thinly sliced virginia or black forest ham. It is always a big hit.
