Description

A healthy snack that’s ready in 5 minutes. It’s got creamy peanut butter, plenty of “crunch” and some chocolaty sweetness too!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Plain, High Fiber, Whole Grain Cereal (suggested: Kashi GoLean Original Cereal)
  • 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips
  • 2  Large Bananas, Peeled

Preparation

Add the peanut butter into a heat-safe bowl and microwave for about 45 seconds, or until it’s just barely melted. Add the cereal and stir until well combined. Add the chocolate chips and stir again.

Slice the first banana in half once lengthwise and once widthwise to create four pieces. Repeat with the second banana. Arrange the banana pieces so that the flat insides face downwards on the cutting board (the peanut butter doesn’t cling very well to the smooth inside part of the banana). Spread a bit of the peanut butter and cereal mixture all over the top of each piece of banana, and serve immediately.

these were very good, just a bit rich for my family. I think I’m going to do a little less peanut butter, but, I do recommend them!
