I always loved the combination of mushrooms and Parmesan cheese.
Clean the mushrooms and take off the stems. Mix the Parmesan cheese, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper until you have a sticky mixture.
Fill mushroom caps with the mixture and place them in a suitable Pyrex dish, filling side up. Put them in a medium heated oven (about 350ºF) for 10 minutes or until the mushrooms start to brown.
Drizzle with lime juice if desired.
