Description

Bite-sized meatballs perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices Bread
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • ⅓ cups Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 2  Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ⅓ cups Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Minced Onion
  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Tomato Sauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar

Preparation

In a small bowl, tear slices of bread into the water and let soak for about 5 minutes. Remove bread, squeeze excess water out and set bread aside.

Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly spray a rimmed cookie sheet with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, soaked bread, parsley flakes, eggs, soy sauce, garlic powder, ketchup, and dried minced onion. Mix well. Form into small meatballs, place on cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes. Repeat until all meat mixture is gone.

Let meatballs cool slightly. Prepare meatball sauce.

For the sauce, in a large pot, combine tomato sauce, chili powder and sugar. Once meatballs are slightly cooled, place them in the sauce mixture and lightly stir all while trying to be careful not to break them (they are fragile).

Makes approximately 150 mini meatballs.
