Description

Thanks to my sister-in-law, Kari, there is not one family event that does not have at least 2 pans of this taco dip on hand. And there are never any leftovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 Ounce Packet
  • 16 ounces, weight Light Cream Cheese
  • 1 whole Red Onion, Diced
  • 2 whole Tomatoes, Diced
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Brown the ground beef over medium heat. Once it’s browned, drain the grease and add taco seasoning and prepare meat mixture according to the package directions. Set aside.

In a 9×13 pan, spread the cream cheese evenly on the bottom. Top with the taco meat and spread evenly. Layer the onion, tomatoes and finally the cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees F until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Serve with sturdy tortilla chips.

Made for office party….guys dove in…nothing left in the dish. Easy to make and transport, put it into the crockpot to keep warm, tho it wasn’t layered, tasted awesome! Thanks for sharing!
