Great recipe to make 80% of the time!
Hummus is combination of ground chickpeas (garbanzo beans) and a few other lovely ingredients.
Chickpeas have loads of fiber, iron, folate, magnesium and protein. These nutrients can have heart-healthy benefits, as well as increase satiety.
Place all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Note: texture may appear slightly more chunky than store-bought hummus, but it is still wonderful!
Serve with pita chips, carrots and celery, or as a spread.

I used a handful and it turned out very good. I was just loggin in to ask the same question though. This was too spicy for me, but the guys at the football party loved it!

Obviously, I can figure out how much cilantro to use, but am curious what your recipe calls for. It’s not listed as an ingredient. Do you only garnish with it?
