This recipe came from our little neighbor lady who loved to host bridge parties. It was a staple at each meeting. I remember her carefully mixing it together, baking the cheese mixture and then spreading it on toasted bread that she had coated lightly with butter.
Stir together all ingredients except cheese in a large bowl. Stir in the cheeses. (You can certainly pick different cheeses to suit your tastebuds! I use white cheddar sometimes and it’s yummy.) Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until dip is golden and bubbly.
Serve on the toast as mentioned in the description or eat it on a Ritz cracker like I do. It’s also great with fresh veggies.
