Description

So easy to throw together and very versatile! This granola would be super yummy on your favorite yogurt or on top of vanilla ice cream… or… mix it with your favorite dried fruit and/or add in some dark chocolate chunks! YUM!

Ingredients

  • Coconut Oil Or Butter, For Greasing Pan
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • ½ teaspoons Real Vanilla Extract
  • ⅓ cups Sliced Almonds
  • ½ cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1-½ cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (Not Quick Oats)
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a small baking sheet with coconut oil or butter. Stir together the honey, butter and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine the almonds, flour, oats, salt and stir. Add the honey mixture to the oat mixture and stir until combined.

Spread the oat mixture onto the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove, toss and place back into the oven for 5–8 more minutes.

Ooooh, this looks so good! I LOVE granola, but store bought granola always has so much other stuff in it, dates, raisins, etc. Which is good, but I really like mine simpler…now I can have it! thanks so much for sharing! Will be giving this a try today!

Made this this morning and had to put it away because it is addicting! I have never made my own granola before so I didn’t really know what to expect but, this works and it so much cheaper than buying it at the store. It tastes better too. Thanks for a great recipe.

I have been on such a granola kick lately and tried your recipe but used pecans. Loved the flavors! I wake up looking forward to my bowl of granola.
