Description

This is the perfect appetizer for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) San Marzano Whole Peeled Tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoons Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil Flakes
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 4 ounces, weight Goat Cheese, Sliced

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a food processor, add the tomatoes and puree the mixture. Move to a large bowl and add salt, basil, and garlic. Stir the mixture well and pour evenly into 4 oven safe bowls.

Place the 4 bowls on a baking sheet and slide into the oven. Cook in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove the pan and raise the oven temperature to 425ºF.

Spread out the goat cheese between the 4 bowls and place in the center of the sauce. Cook for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
