Description

This sooo easy yet decadent roll is great for a quick finger food when company comes over!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Egg (for Egg Wash)
  • Flour For Dusting Board And Rolling Pin
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Crescent Rolls
  • 1 block (about 8 Oz. Block) Brie Cheese
  • 1 whole Thin Green Apple, Thinly Sliced
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper, Or To Taste

Preparation

1. Preheat oven according to crescent roll package directions.
2. Beat the egg in a bowl (for the egg wash) and set aside
3. Sprinkle some flour on your rolling pin and on the surface where you will roll out your dough.
4. Take the dough out of the container. Keep it whole and try not to let it separate into crescent cut-outs. Roll the dough until all the pieces come together and are flat.
5. Now slice your cheese and apples and place them along one side (a long side) of the dough. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.
6. Gently but firmly roll the dough up into a log, tucking in the ends about halfway through.
7. Brush on the egg wash that you set aside (do not skip this step, it makes it so pretty and shiny at the end).
8. Bake on a cookie sheet for 12–20 minutes, depending on how hot your oven is. Be sure to keep an eye on them.

Let it rest for about 5-10 minutes out of the oven. Slice and enjoy!
