Description

There’s nothing better than double chocolate granola bars. OK, maybe there are better things like cake, cookies, iced coffee…you get the picture. But, when your kids are looking for easy snacks these are a must.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • ½ cups Melted Butter
  • 1 bar Dark Or Semi-sweet Chocolate - 4oz., Melted (used Baker's Chocolate)
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 Oz)
  • ½ cups White Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cups Chopped Nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix together oats and melted butter. Pour in melted chocolate and milk, stir well.
Stir in white chocolate chips.

On a well-greased 9×13″ cookie sheet, evenly spread the granola mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the brown on top. Remove from the oven, and immediately cut into bars. Let the bars completely cool in the cookie sheet before removing.

Granola bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
