This simple appetizer is light & refreshing, perfect on a warm summer day.
1. Combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and dried Italian dressing mix in a medium bowl.
2. Slice the cucumber into rounds that are about 1/4-1/2″ thick. You can leave the cucumbers unpeeled or peel them if you’d like, but I like to peel strips leaving parts of the peel on.
3. Slice the baguette into 1/2-3/4″ slices.
4. To assemble the canapes, spread the cream cheese mixture on a slice of bread. Place a slice of cucumber on top of the spread and top with dill. Don’t leave off the dill- it is a must!
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
