Description

Quick and easy cinnamon wonton chips with fruit salsa that is the perfect healthy snack, plus it’s great for packing in your lunch!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CHIPS:
  • 12 whole Wonton Wrappers, Cut Into Quarters
  • 1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • Melted Butter Or Spray Oil
  • FOR THE SALSA:
  • 2 whole Apples, Diced
  • 1 cup Diced Strawberries
  • 1 whole Lime, Juiced
  • ¼ cups Finely Chopped Red Onion
  • ¼ cups Fresh Cilantro, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and spread the wonton wrappers on it. Spray the tops of the wonton wrappers with spray oil.

In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over top of the wonton wrappers. Alternatively, you can brush both sides of the wonton wrappers with melted butter and then sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 9–10 minutes until they are browned and crispy. Let cool completely; they will crisp up a bit more as they cool.

In a medium bowl, stir together apples, strawberries, lime juice, red onion and cilantro until combined. Cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to use. Serve with the cinnamon wonton chips.
