Description

A quick and easy black bean hummus with the awesomeness of cilantro!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Plain Black Beans, Drained
  • 1 Tablespoon Safflower Or Olive Oil
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Lime Juice, Or More To Taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Cilantro Or 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh
  • ¼ teaspoons To 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Sea Salt

Preparation

1. Place beans in food processor and pulse until desired consistency.

2. Mix in all other ingredients and pulse until thoroughly blended.

3. Enjoy!

*Depending on the saltiness of your chips, and the potency of your lime juice, this amount of salt could be totally wrong. I suggest starting with 1/4 teaspoon and working your way up until it is as salty as desired.

I meant to give it five mitts, not one, oops!

Major yum! This was delicious enough with garlic powder, dried cilantro and bottled lime juice, but am looking forward to trying it with fresh ingredients too, because I think it will be even better with the freshness factor added. So simple, quick and good!
