Description

Great seafood dip for any occasion! Serve warm with crackers or chips.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter, Softened
  • 1 whole Shallot, Finely Diced
  • 1 whole Jalapeno Pepper, Seeds Removed, Finely Diced
  • 5-½ ounces, fluid Canned Clams In Natural Juices
  • 4 ounces, weight Fresh Or Frozen Bay Scallops, Thaw If Frozen
  • 1 whole Lemon, Zest And Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Tarragon
  • 1 cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs Or Panko

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a skillet on medium heat, add butter, shallot, jand alapeno. Saute until tender. Add clams and juices and bay scallops. Cook 2 minutes, stirring while cooking. Add lemon zest and juice, Old Bay, and tarragon. Stir to mix and cook 2 minutes.

Add bread crumbs (or Panko) and stir; the mixture will thicken. Transfer to a greased or sprayed oven safe baking dish. Place in the hot oven and bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Serve with pita chips, crackers, or garlic chips! Scrumptious!
