Description

Simple, quick and easy cheeseball.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 1 package (1 Oz. Packet) Dry Ranch Mix
  • 8 ounces, weight Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 1 package (3 Oz. Package) Real Bacon Bits (Not Imitation)

Preparation

Allow cream cheese to soften slightly, then add ranch mix, all of the cheddar and a handful of the bacon bits. Mix well and form into the shape of a ball. I use my (clean!) hands instead of a mixer. It’s a bit messy but keeps the texture from getting too creamy.

Pour the remaining bacon bits onto a clean surface (a dinner plate works well) and roll the cheese ball over them so that the bacon bits stick to the outside of the ball.

This can be eaten immediately or refrigerated for up to a week.

Serve with crackers, chips or cut veggies. Or, as I like to eat it, cut in wedges all on its own.

Yum! I just whipped this up to take to a baby shower tomorrow and then proceeded to lick the bowl clean. Guess I will have to make one for myself whenI get home tomorrow. I did add another 1/2 a package of cream cheese to make it a little larger and I think that allowed a little more of the cream cheese flavor to come thru the ranch dressing. Thanks for sharing!
