Description

A quick, creamy dip that you will want to eat with a spoon!

Ingredients

  • 1 container Cool Whip (8 Ounce Conatiner) Or Substitute ½ Cup Heavy Cream For The Container Of Cool Whip
  • ½ teaspoons Apple Pie Spice
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • ¼ cups Caramel Sauce
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Apple, Peeled And Finely Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar, Optional, Only If Needed
  • For Serving: Graham Crackers, Gingersnaps Or Other Cookies

Preparation

If using heavy cream, in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks begin to form. This will take about 2-3 minutes. If using Cool whip, just place it into the mixing bowl and turn the mixer on medium speed. Sprinkle in the apple pie spice, vanilla extract, salt and caramel sauce until it’s all combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing.

Turn mixer on medium and whip in the softened cream cheese until incorporated. Lastly, add the finely diced apple and mix until evenly combined. Place into a bowl, cover and refrigerate until chilled, about one hour.

Serve with graham crackers, gingersnaps or other cookies.

Note: The apples will lend the dip some sweetness while the dip chills. If the dip is not sweet enough for your liking, stir in a tablespoon of sugar before serving.
