Description

A deliciously creamy baked camembert topped with warm, honey and balsamic soaked berries and candied walnuts. Delectable food at it’s finest!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Muscovado Sugar, Divided
  • 1 wheel (8 Oz. Size) Camembert Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 cup Blueberries And Blackberries

Preparation

Preheat oven to 180ºC (355ºF).

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar on top of the cheese wheel and place in the oven for approximately 10 minutes, until sugar has melted and caramelized.

In the meantime, place butter in a pan and melt over low heat before adding remaining sugar and walnuts. Stir for approximately 3–4 minutes, allowing the sugar to melt and walnuts to be fully coated. Remove from pan and leave to cool.

In a separate pan, add honey and vinegar and allow to heat before carefully folding in the berries. Set aside.

Remove the Camembert from the oven, pour over the candied walnuts before adding the honey and balsamic-glazed berries.

Sit back, cut into this pile of heavenly, decadent goodness and enjoy!
