Spectacular recipe, thank you! Came out perfect, family loved it. Why spend $7 for Wildtree Mix when you can make at home?? Thanks again.

I really love this bread. It is super easy and uses ingrediants I often have on hand – beer and cheese. LOL! I love the hearty texture and the crisp crust. I have made it with/without the green onion and the green onion adds a lot more than I would have thought.

Great recipe, made it last night with some dark beer and pepper jack along with cheddar and no italian seasoning and no green onion, it was very tasty and had a good height and a nice moist crumb. I did add some chopped parsley for color.

This was my first experiennce with beer bread. I initially went on the hunt for a recipe to use up some unwanted beer. This went great with the soup that I served it with. I loved the texture and was surprised with how moist it was. My only complaint was that I didn’t like the italian seasoning, and I will be leaving it out next time.

Um, I have one word for this bread. DELICIOUS. Will definitely be keeping this as a regular recipe!

I used room temp beer and the batter was really easy to mix, in other recipes if I need warm beer I just microwave it for a minute in a measuring cup.

J ~ I’ve always just used it straight out of the fridge, so I’m not really sure what difference it might make to use room temp.
T~I have also tried it with asiago cheese & rosemary and it was fab!

This sounds great! Have you ever tried it with other cheeses? I’m thinking a combo of cheddar and blue cheese might be good too.

I love beer bread and can’t wait to try this one with cheese. Question – do you let your beer come to room temp or use it straight out of the fridge? I’ve never had the patience to wait and don’t know if it makes a difference…lol.
