This makes a ton so you will need a large airtight container for storage. You may also divide this up into mason jars to give as gifts.
In a large airtight container, mix all ingredients (except the optional toppings) very well saving out a few chocolate chips to sprinkle.
For each serving, mix 1/4 cup of the mix to 1 cup boiling water in a large mug.
Top with a large dollop of extra creamy whip cream, then chocolate syrup, then sprinkle on a few chocolate chips.
IF GIVING AS GIFTS
Use 1 quart decorated mason jars with above directions attached to the jar (write them on a card and attach the card to the jar with some pretty ribbon). You could also throw in a bottle of chocolate sauce, a can of whip cream topping, and holiday mugs in a pretty basket. You can also throw in some homemade brownies.

If I plan on using this for gifts, how many 1 quart jars would you say one batch of this recipe fills?

This sounds delicious, just looked up the recipe to go along with homemade marshmallows. I can’t wait to try it thanks for posting!
