Having tasted a similar purchased offering at a friend’s home, I just had to re-create it at home. Yum! An easy, inexpensive and very tasty spread, and depending on where you buy your goat cheese, the cost can be quite reasonable. I used the cream cheese to extend it a bit, but it can be optional. Experiment and adjust ingredients to your liking.
Cream the goat cheese and cream cheese either using an electric mixer or mini-food processor. Add minced rosemary and mix well to combine.
Place cheese mixture into a container and swirl in the fig preserves. Refrigerate, covered, until serving time.
Serve with buttery crackers and enjoy.
