Cheese, bread, garlic, butter. Need I say more?
Preheat oven to 375F. On medium heat in a small sauce pan, melt 1/4 of the stick of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and the pinch of oregano. Cook the garlic for a minute or two until it starts to bubble. Making sure not to cook it too long, because burnt garlic is YUCK! After the butter bubbles, put in the rest of the butter. Melt the butter completely and take off the heat.
Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet (you can use foil to have an easier cleanup, but sometimes foil doesn’t let the bread get crunchy—your choice). Spread the butter mixture all over the bread, making sure to spread the garlic pretty evenly. Then place the slices of muenster cheese over the bread on top of the butter mixture. Bake for 20 minutes and start checking for the top of the cheese to be nice and bubbly. Yummy.
