Simple yet unbelievably decadent, a family favorite passed down for many generations.
Mix dry ingredients together (the 3 tablespoons of flour need to be heaping tablespoons, not your typical level measuring spoon).
Stir in cream, milk and vanilla.
Mix well and pour into an unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 -45 minutes until thick but not solid and top turns golden brown.
The trickiest part of this recipe is knowing when to take it out of the oven. It depends a little on personal preference and a little on trial-and-error.
