This is a classic Brown Bread recipe. It is moist and filling. We spread cream cheese or butter on it for breakfast. It is a great way to use wheat germ.
Bunker Hill Brown Bread
1 1/2 Cups Flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 Cup wheat germ
1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
raisins
MIX
in separate bowl
2 eggs
1/3 Cup oil
1/2 Cup light Molasses
1/2 Cup pancake syrup
2 Cups milk
Mix
Combine Wet with Dry ingredients
Bake in greased 1 lb. coffee cans 1/2 full, or 2 greased loaf pans covered with foil and vented in the corner.
350 for 50 minutes
Freezes well. Yummers
