Description

All the prep work is done the night before- makes these a snap for holiday breakfasts or morning meetings!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Melted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • ⅓ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 package Dry Butterscotch Pudding Mix (not Instant)
  • 18 whole Frozen Yeast Dinner Rolls
  • Chopped Pecans, To Taste

Preparation

Combine melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and pudding mix in deep bowl, whisk until no lumps remain.

Grease a bundt pan, and if you desire nuts, sprinkle pecans into the bottom of the pan.

Remove rolls from the freezer. Dunk each roll in the butter mixture, space evenly around the bundt pan.

Pour remaining butter mixture around the rolls, cover with foil and leave unrefrigerated overnight.

In the morning, remove the foil, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Rolls should be a rich golden-brown. Invert the pan onto a plate and serve.

Alternately, you can use mini-loaf pans for individual size servings, 3 rolls to a pan is appropriate. Bake time will be lessened if the dish is prepared this way.

I used one stick of butter (1/2 cup) and the pudding cinnamon and sugar. My mixture was very thick and would not pour. What am I missing or doing wrong?

I make a recipe very similar to this. I do use instant pudding mix in vanilla, french vanilla, or cream cheese flavor…..whatever I happen to have on hand. It always tastes great!
