This thick, creamy, gooey icing makes a fantastic filler for cakes, icing for your cupcakes, a fruit dip, etc. Keep in mind that you can substitute virtually any of your favorite candies or candy bars to personalize the end-product!
Before beginning, microwave cream cheese on high for 20-25 seconds to soften. Cut candy bar minis (if applicable) into quarters.
With an electric mixer, cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip until well-blended. Mixture will be thick but fluffy.
Fold in candy, and enjoy as a cake filler, cupcake icing, as a dip for apples and other fruit, or simply by the spoonful!
