Very good! Loved the spice. Agree that these are definitely better than the plain stuff out of a can.

These were delish! We didn’t have any rotel so we used salsa and the chili powder gave it a nice kick! Will definitely make again.

We really enjoyed these refried beans. I don’t have access to Ranch Style beans and used Pinto beans in a tomato sauce instead. To compensate, I added a splash of vinegar, some ancho chili powder, and some Worcerstshire sauce. It took about 40 minutes to cook down (uncovered).

I made these to accompany my flank steak fajitas and they received rave reviews! Easy to make for a crowd; which is a good thing because they will lap them up!

We are spoiled now. We will never be able to eat “regular” refried beans again. These are so good! Thanks for sharing your easy but amazing recipe!

These were so good and so easy to make. They definitely have some kick to them so you’ll probably want to use the sour cream on top. Loved ‘em!

The only thing I could find in my two different local grocery stores were “ranchero beans.” Basically canned pinto beans with chopped jalapeño. Is that the same thing? Thanks.

Loved this! Ate it for dinner, much to children’s dismay – hey they can make chicken nuggets, it’s good for their self esteem to feed themselves. Anyway, I also added about 1 tbsp of chipotle pepper puree, I think it was a good move.
