Caramel Brownies are total gooey goodness.
In a microwave safe bowl, combine butter and chocolate, broken into pieces. Microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until chocolate has melted completely. Add sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; stir until well combined. Beat in eggs. Add flour, soda, salt and 1 cup of caramel bits.
Pour into an 8″ x 8″ glass baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small microwave safe bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup caramel bits and 2 tablespoons half-and-half, cooking in the microwave at 30-second intervals and stirring in between until caramel is melted and smooth. Serve each brownie with about two teaspoons of caramel sauce. YUMMY!
