Description

Easy as pie Thousand Island Dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Diced Pickles
  • 1 Tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 1 dash Tabasco (optional)

Preparation

Mix mayonnaise, sugar, and ketchup until well blended and it’s that perfect pink-orange color we all know so well (add more mayo/ketchup as needed).

Add diced pickles (or relish); these can be dill or sweet, whichever your personal preference is or whatever you have on hand in the fridge. Mix well.

Add optional Tabasco or other ‘hot sauce’ as desired (to taste) and mix well. Voila, et fini!

I put 4 as the serving count, but it really depends on how much dressing one likes on one’s salad or sandwich (read Reuben).

I made this for some burgers and it was delicious. I used homemade mayo (using a stick blender, of course!)
