Description

All the yummy elements of our favorite campfire treat packed into a tasty bar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • ¾ cups White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2-½ cups Mini Marshmallows, Divided
  • 1-½ cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 6 whole Graham Cracker Sheets
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1 whole Milk Chocolate Bar (1.55oz)

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in 2 cups marshmallows and chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.

Combine crumbled graham crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle on top of the cookie dough. Sprinkle on candy bar and remaining 1/2 cup marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

Note: these do not require refrigeration, but they are easier to cut if chilled.

Made these yesterday, used graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chips for the topping as I didn’t have whole crackers and candy bars. The time should be increased by about 5 minutes, and they need to cool completely or be refrigerated in order to cut them otherwise they seem under cooked. However, the taste is fantastic and I will be making again. Thanks for sharing.
