This is the simplest and most satisfying cocktail when looking for something refreshing yet not too sweet. Just make sure to use a cherry vodka that does not have that cherry medicine taste! My favorite version uses High Rise cherry vodka and diet root beer, but you can use a diet cherry-flavored dark soda as well. This lightened version has almost half the calories of the original and no carbs or sugar.
Combine vodka and cola in a glass with ice and stir.
