These muffins use wheat flour in addition to other healthy ingredients such as honey and bananas (duh). Bonus—there’s no butter or oil! The texture is just right and the crunchy walnuts on top are the perfect complement. These muffins have the perfect amount of banana flavor and are so dang good.
Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly grease a 12-count standard size muffin tin.
Mash bananas in a large bowl. Stir in eggs, honey, and vanilla. Add wheat flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Scoop into the prepared muffin pan. Top with walnuts.
Bake for 22 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center of one comes out clean.
