This is a quick ice cream that needs 2 ingredients and 5 minutes of your time.
Frescolita is a Venezuelan soda. It is very similar to cream sodas found here in the United States, with a taste similar to bubble gum. It’s yummy and one of my favorite soda drinks.
Start off by pouring the can of Frescolita or similar cream soda into the blender, then take the sweetened condensed milk and pour some of that yummy liquid into individual cups, coating the bottom. It should be about 1 tablespoon per cup (you can put more or less, depending on how much you like sweetened condensed milk). Then pour about 1/2 of the can of condensed milk into the blender. Hit mix and swirl it up until well-mixed, about 2 minutes or so.
Taste it and if is not sweet enough, pour some more condensed milk. I usually don’t like it too sweet, plus the freezer will intensify the flavors as well.
Pour the mixture into the coated cups about halfway full, place into a tray or pan, cover wtih aluminum foil, and into the freezer they go. Freeze for about 24 hours.

Hannah.. so sorry that i’m responding to this like a gazillion months after you asked! But, to answer your question.. It may work.. the only way to know is to try it. And if you do, let me know how it goes.

Would this work with whole-fat coconut milk instead of sweetened condensed milk? My boyfriends favorite drink is coke with coconut rum – I am trying to recreate it as a sorbet!
Thanks
Hannah
