Make fresh-tasting salsa at home that will rival your favorite restaurant’s and impress your friends!
Throw tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, sugar and salt in a food processor and pulse to chop (or finely chop by hand). Add remaining ingredients below, depending on how spicy you like it, and process to combine.
For mild salsa, add 2 whole green chiles (from a can).
For medium heat salsa, add 2 whole green chiles (from a can) and 2-3 jalapeños or Thai chiles.
For hot salsa, add 2 to 3 whole green chiles (from a can) and 1 habanero pepper.
